Frequently asked questions

The questions we are asked most.

If your question is not here, call reception — someone will answer, at any hour.

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?

Both work. Appointments are taken by phone and on WhatsApp and mean a shorter wait. Walk-in patients are seen as the clinic allows, and emergencies are always seen straight away without an appointment.

What are your hours?

The emergency desk and inpatient care run 24 hours a day, every day of the year. OPD consulting hours are Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM; Saturday, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. The OPD is closed on Sunday, but emergencies are seen at any hour.

Where exactly are you located?

We are on the 3rd floor of Green Atria in Adajan, Surat. The contact page has a map and a directions link that will open in Google Maps on your phone.

Do you handle normal deliveries as well as caesareans?

Yes. Our maternity team handles normal deliveries and caesarean sections, and the delivery room sits next to the operating theatre so a case can move quickly if it needs to.

Can my husband or mother stay with me during admission?

One attendant can normally stay overnight with an admitted patient. Please check with the nursing staff on the ward, as the arrangement can depend on the room and on how busy the ward is.

What should I bring to my first pregnancy visit?

Bring any previous prescriptions and reports, earlier scans, a list of medicines you take, and photo identity. If you already have an antenatal card from another clinic, bring that too.

Do you do ultrasound scans at the hospital?

Yes, scanning is done on site, so your consultation and scan usually happen in the same visit and the report reaches your doctor the same day.

Is there a physiotherapist at the hospital?

Yes. The hospital has its own physiotherapist, who helps patients recover after a delivery, a caesarean or an operation, and advises on back and pelvic pain during pregnancy. Exercises can start on the ward while you are still admitted. Ask your consultant or the reception desk to arrange a session.

How soon can I be seen in an emergency?

Come straight in. The emergency desk is staffed at every hour, and the most urgent cases are assessed first rather than in order of arrival. Calling on the way helps us prepare.

Do you accept insurance or cashless treatment?

Yes. The hospital has a cashless facility and insurance claims are handled through TPAs. Reception also accepts cash, card and UPI. Bring your insurance or TPA card and tell the desk at admission rather than at discharge. To check whether your particular policy is covered, please call reception before admission — we would rather give you an accurate answer on the phone than an outdated one on a web page.

How do I get a copy of my reports or discharge summary?

Ask at reception with the patient’s name and registration details. Bring identity proof. For records some time old, please call ahead so the file can be retrieved before you arrive.
