Everything in one building.
Consultation, scans, theatre and recovery all happen on the same floor, so you are not sent across the city between appointments.
Facilities available to patients.
Patient rooms
Private and semi-private rooms with space for one family member to stay overnight with the patient.
Operating theatre
A sterile theatre for planned and emergency procedures, kept ready for obstetric and surgical cases around the clock.
Labour & delivery room
A dedicated delivery room next to the theatre, so a normal delivery can move to a caesarean without delay if it needs to.
Ultrasound & imaging
On-site scanning for pregnancy monitoring and surgical assessment, with reports available the same day.
Sample collection
Routine blood and urine samples collected at the hospital so you do not need a separate lab visit.
Pharmacy access
Medicines dispensed for admitted patients and prescriptions filled at the time of discharge.
Emergency entrance
A clear route to the emergency desk with staff on duty at every hour of the day and night.
Accessible access
Lift access to the third floor and assistance available for patients who need help reaching the ward.
Family waiting area
Seating for attendants close to the ward, with the fetal growth chart families tell us they read while waiting.

What to expect when you are admitted.
Admission is arranged by your consultant. Reception will explain room options and what each costs before you decide, and you will be told what to bring and roughly how long to expect to stay.
One attendant can normally stay with the patient overnight. Meals, linen and nursing care are provided through the stay, and your discharge summary, prescriptions and follow-up date are handed over before you leave.
